My Gentle Giant

A piece of gift art for my darling pet, *AngelicaUmbrarum

The big, roguish Elf is my sweetie, Malachi.
The fox is also mine; his name is Kochi.
And the cute, coltish girl in Malachi's lap is her character, Ricula.

They are currently having a nice, cozy cuddle in the sun inside Malachi's treehouse (which is made of bamboo).

FYI, he was not just in a fight; he's an adventurous, forest-dwelling hermit. Living in a forest will get you scratched up and bruised pretty quick. The bloody bandage on his shoulder is from a previous hunting trip.

This is also probably one of my least computer-edited pieces to date; the only thing done digitally was a little shadow enhancement and a very soft glow effect. The rest is all colored pencils and ink.

p.s. The title is "My Gentle Giant" because, in case you didn't notice, Mal is considerably larger than Ricula; he stands a full 6'5", and she is about 5'4".
